2008 looks great so far! If you have not heard, our support group has moved to its final destination. This time we are now located back into the Conference room in the Outpatient Center room 110 and 1 time in room130 in September. My suggestion is to read the paper thats hangin on the doorway before you enter so you don't accidently walk innto another meetiing., If you need a copy of the flyer. Our hot topic of the year will be alternatives mainly and of course the drug companies. Another idea I will be continuing to rev up people to go to the Capitol and ask for funding of Hepatitis C for free testing to all Californians. You can always call me at (530)265-2317. Another great leap of mine is that I went back to work as a Registered Veterinary Technician. It is only part-time so my energy level can be maintained somewhat. I have noticed since I went back to work on Tuesdays my memory seemed to improve. Maybe it's the repetition but I do still panic when I am asked for certain pharmecueticals from the Veterinarian. So "Brain Fog" still haunts me.

A footnote: I am in the process of scheduling our speakers for the year. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to speak up. It's the Groupies that make the support group.

Leslie Bensn is the director of Education for Healthy Choices located in Sacramento and helps advocate funding for Hepatitis C in California. May is Hepatitis C month and she will be announcing when the ralley on the Capitol steps for May. Join us in rallying funding for free testing for all Californian's.
